Besides drawing inspiration from the many existing large industrial complexes, I possess an unlimited imagination of my own. I regularly create entirely imaginary industrial landscapes, each with its own unique name. The character of such a factory is often conveyed very powerfully in my drawings. The economic engine that constantly emits large amounts of pollution represents a hostile outside world. Nevertheless, I am able to discover beauty within it. I transform the darker side of a beautiful world into a drawing, giving industry a positive and compelling presence.
